Covid-19 Sparks a Change in Two Great Massage Therapists

Covid-19 restrictions have been easing, businesses have been reopening, but the ripple effect of the closures have hit home at Centered Therapies.   We are beyond grateful to be back to fully open but have to say goodbye to some amazing therapists.

When massage therapy reopened in Iowa, Elisa Coffman with Room to Renew, decided to stay closed and monitor the regulations and constantly changing information on Covid-19.   After waiting over a month, she reassessed and made a tough decision.  At this time, Elisa Coffman (Room to Renew), will not be coming back to massage therapy.  Elisa is a phenomenal massage therapist with 14 years of experience.   This is a hard loss for the massage community and the Quad Cities.   Elisa plans on reassessing the environment down the road and will let everyone at Centered Therapies know if she returns to massage.

Last week, we got some additional sad news.  After working out of Centered Therapies since we opened nearly 7 years ago, Jennifer Modjeska with Deeply Rooted has accepted a full-time position at The Spa At The Blackhawk Hotel.  Jen has been a joy at Centered Therapies.  Not only is she an extraordinary massage therapist with over 28 years of experience, but she has been a light reminding us all to have a little fun in life!  Jen will be available at Centered Therapies through Wednesday, July 15, 2020.  After that, she will be available at the The Spa At The Blackhawk Hotel.   For more information about the spa, check out .

We wish Jen and Elisa all the best in their new jobs, and they are always welcome at Centered Therapies.
